Celebrating 100 years of Chrysler
The Chrysler Corporation was founded in 1925 by Walter P. Chrysler, who had no prior experience in automotive manufacturing. Chrysler's creation actually began with his 1925 acquisition of the struggling Maxwell Motor Company, which he successfully turned around. Chrysler introduced the Chrysler Six, a car with innovative features like a high-compression engine, which helped establish the brand's reputation for advanced engineering.
